It's time to become wise.

Nowadays in this very troubled moment it's possible to realize the horrible situation in the political scenario of Brazil, and we, brazilians, need as in everything in life, still check the positive sides of this moment: never before we had so many brazilian citizens with their minds turned to politics; we never have so many people dedicated themselves to knowing their rulers, never so many wanted to see justice applied... Even if not always well thought out. More positive would be if everyone were reflecting on what does politics means, their role in the structure of the country, not defending points of view, without a councious analysis face facts. Because if there is immorality in any situation, there is nothing to defend.

In the circumstances that we are now we can, each of us, verify our incapacity for reflection, and the futility of trying to make ourselves recognized as an intellectual individual. In this activity to demonstrate political intellectuality through Facebook, we were witnesses of rude arguments, even worse discussions, and, to the scandal of those more sensitive, the end of many friendships,  Would this be an exercise in pseudo-intellectualism, or a new form of fanaticism other than religious? To be intellectual, even, is not to be intelligent; good that we emphasize this fact.

I hope that the result of this moment in which we Brazilians are involved, without the prospect of a balanced future politically speaking, will be that of a country that is more aware, essentially in the simply human sense, of itself, so that from there we can have a responsibility and intelligent management of our thoughts, actions and activities, so that all of this is expressive, in the responsibility and conscious management of those who are responsible for managing the country.

There is no society on the planet made up of honest citizens, ruled by criminal politicians. May we live after this turmoil an aphorism by Kant (1724–1804): "Always act so consciously that your behavior may become an expression of a Universal Law." Only then will we transform our country.
